Knock 50 Doors in Your Neighborhood

We are ready to take back all levels of government for the people from Legislature to Regent to School Boards to City Councils and to Congress. The best way to elect Democrats is on a personal level at the doors–conversations about how to vote and the issues we care about. We must communicate our values. We know the current one-party rule at the national and state level is bad for democracy.

It is clear the Republican Party is now so radical and so extreme they have totally lost what it means to serve and to put people first. Whether it is separating children and families, shutting down the government, giving the biggest government handout in decades to millionaires and billionaires while pretending they are giving tax cuts to our families or cutting health insurance and food stamps to working families. The GOP is now the party of mean.

You can serve as a Block Captain where you are responsible for connecting with 50 voters in your community to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

Sign up to serve as a Block Captain

When you sign up to be a Block Captain you agree to canvass 50 houses in your neighborhood. This is a commitment of about 2 hours each time you knock your 50 doors. This is the BEST WAY you can help elect Democrats.

We have over 500 Block Captains across Nebraska.

Block Captains will transform the way we talk to our neighbors. We are winning elections with the grassroots leading the way.

We know some Nebraskans cannot commit to canvassing, please consider a donation to help win elections–sign up as a Monthly Donor.

The Block Captain program is run by the NDP at the local level and if you have questions please email ronr@nebraskademocrats.org or gina@nebraskademocrats.org
