In the Press2010 Convention
The State Convention for the Nebraska Democratic Party is July 23, 24, and 25 in Columbus, Nebraska.
Friday Night and Sunday morning events will be held at the New World Inn
Saturday meetings will be at Central Community College in Columbus.
The 2010 Democratic State Convention will feature appearances by our elected officials and candidates, election of our State Officers and discussion about changes to the party rules, Constitution and platform. In addition, this year delegates will discuss and vote whether to have a Presidential Caucus in 2012. Caucus meetings and committee meetings will be held Friday Evening. The speakers, Congressional District caucus, elections and other business will be held on Saturday. Platform discussion will be held Sunday morning. Saturday Night will feature a dinner at the New World Inn.
