In response to the government shutdown, caused by the Republican Party, Nebraska Democratic Party Chair, Jane Kleeb has released the following statement:
“The Republican Party is incapable of governing for the people. Nebraskans understand one-party control at the state and national level means our families do not have a voice in our democracy. We are organizing block captains all across our state to end one-party rule and to end the reckless shutdown of our government. Dreamers and kids who rely on CHIP for insurance deserve better leadership than Rep. Bacon and Sen. Fischer gave Nebraska tonight.” Chair Jane Kleeb
