SCHULLER SEEKS SENATE SEAT IN LEGISLATURE

Don and Julie Schuller announce Don’s candidacy for the Nebraska Legislature from District 30.

“People I respect, from both Gage and Lancaster County, have encouraged me to run and I believe that every district resident should have an effective representative who listens to their concerns and opinions,” Schuller said.

“Since Dr. Baker, our current Senator, is retiring at the end of his term, I intend to further educate myself about the needs of the district residents.  I have always lived and farmed in the district but there is so much I should learn.” Schuller continued.

Schuller listed his present priorities to include the economic stability for family owned farms and businesses, the state and local tax structure, the conservation of soil, water and other natural resources and preparation for future changes.

Don Schuller is a life-long resident of Gage County, who was raised on a farm between Wymore and Barneston which he still farms. He has the knowledge gained from diverse work experiences and personal associations throughout the area. Formerly employed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service for 30 years, he now continues his farming operation and conducts a business performing surveys and designing conservation projects. Mr. Schuller is a member of the Wymore Fire Department Board, the Barneston American Legion Post, and the American Legion Riders Beatrice Post.
