in likely violation of Nebraska law barring new parties from using words already claimed by an existing party &#8211; and by echoing the \u201cworking people deserve a seat at the table\u201d message central to independent U.S. Senate candidate Dan Osborn\u2019s campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The complaint cites a paid, out-of-state WPP petition circulator who was recorded telling a prospective signer the party would \u201ctake votes away from the Democrats,\u201d as well as an open letter from Nebraska\u2019s AFL-CIO-affiliated unions warning that WPP relied on \u201cright-wing Republican signature-gathering firms\u201d and would \u201csplit the vote in critical races\u201d to Republicans\u2019 benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cNebraskans deserve a ballot they can trust, not one gamed by dark-money tricks designed to confuse voters,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Kleeb said. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe\u2019re not going to let Pete Ricketts and his paid allies get away with it.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The national Working Families Party, which is not currently seeking ballot access in Nebraska, says the WPP name misappropriates decades of its own brand-building and could permanently block WFP from ever registering in the state under its own name.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The lawsuit &#8211;
