LINCOLN\u2013 The Nebraska Democratic Party State Central Committee, on Saturday, June 20th, agreed with the Working Families Caucus to oppose the Fast Track Legislation pending before Congress.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nebraska Democratic Party opposes the Trans Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement and any similar trade agreements that weakens or reduces workers\u2019 wages\/benefits, protections, American jobs, and reduces environmental protections.<\/p>\n

Resolved \u2013 that the Nebraska Democratic Party oppose Fast Track of the Trans Pacific Partnership and any similar trade agreements and the agreement in its current purported form; and, be it further<\/p>\n

Resolved \u2013 that the Nebraska Democratic Party communicates this position to all Democratic members of Congress, other elected officials, and candidates within the State of Nebraska.<\/p>\n
