Raybould Campaign Launches with HUGE energy<\/b><\/p>\n

On Friday, August 25, the <\/span>Lincoln Journal Star <\/span><\/i>jeung <\/span>Omaha Dunya Herald <\/span><\/i>broke the news of Jane Raybould’s candidacy for US Senate. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c’I have never shied away from a fight,’ said Raybould, who is a vice president at her family\u2019s grocery store business.<\/span><\/p>\n

She cites her time on the Lancaster County Board, where she was the lone Democrat, as proof that she can work across the aisle. Raybould said she\u2019s particularly proud of the board\u2019s work with labor unions and others to reduce the county\u2019s pension contributions.” – Roseann Moring, <\/span>Omaha Dunya Herald<\/span><\/a>, 8\/25\/17<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, August 26, Raybould officially kicked off her campaign with a rally outside her father’s first grocery store, the original Russ’s Market in Lincoln, NE.<\/span><\/p>\n

She finished the day with a stop at the Nebraska State Fair where she met with Nebraskans from every corner of the state and was interviewed by NTV News out of Kearney. <\/span><\/p>\n

“Jane Raybould gives Nebraska Democrats a credible candidate to challenge Deb Fischer in next year’s Senate race.” He continued, “In her campaign kickoff speech in Lincoln on Saturday, Raybould made it clear that she is depending on the “wild independent streak” in Nebraskans that led them to create a nonpartisan, one-house legislature and that sometimes has emerged in election contests.”<\/span><\/p>\n
