Tony Vargas Added to DCCC\u2019s \u2018Red to Blue\u2019 Program In First Round<\/h1>\n

Today, the DCCC added Tony Vargas to the first round of the \u2018Red to Blue’ program \u2013 signaling that this race will once again be one of the most competitive in the country. Red to Blue signifies top-tier campaigns that are building the infrastructure to win and help take back the House majority.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur campaign is seeing more momentum and grassroots support than ever before; I hear from Nebraskans every single day that they\u2019re fed up with self-interested, phony politicians like Don Bacon who get nothing done,\u201d\u00a0said Tony Vargas.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re already putting in the hard work to get our message out to voters and this recognition from the DCCC is a reflection of the strength of this campaign. This will no doubt be one of the closest races in the country again but with the support we\u2019re seeing, we know we can win.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Vargas campaign has been building a strong operation, including securing key endorsements, raising significant resources, and starting an organizing program earlier than ever before. Tony raised over $1.4 million in 2023, including over $250,000 in the first 24 hours and 75% coming from Nebraskans. The campaign has already knocked on tens of thousands of doors and has been endorsed by AFSCME, IBEW Local 22, Communication Workers of America, BCTGM Local 50g, and dozens of local and state leaders.<\/p>\n
