Sasse for too long and I say ENOUGH,\u201d said U.S. Senate candidate Chris Janicek. \u201cIt\u2019s time to vote him out. Why a sitting U.S. Senator from a top-producing ag state like Nebraska would resign from the Agriculture Committee is disturbing. That committee had a member from Nebraska for almost five decades and Sasse\u2019s resignation ended that tradition.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Senate candidate Angie Philips said: \u201cSen. Sasse\u2019s biggest achievement of his career has been to prove that he doesn\u2019t care, won\u2019t listen and will not fight for the needs of our communities. Whether I\u2019m at my home in North Omaha or back home out west, I hear the same sentiment: We don\u2019t have a Senator. I\u2019m running to give a voice to everyday Nebraskan\u2019s regardless of where they live or how much money they make.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Said candidate Dr. Dan Wik: &#8220;Ben Sasse has had six years to propose approaches to immigration and health care, now it is time for a common sense rural physician to give Nebraskans solutions rather than fancy talk.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Precious McKesson, constituency director for the NDP, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">attended <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the Sasse announcement in Omaha and said:\u00a0 \u201cBen Sasse continues to show us he\u2019s standing with Trump no matter what. We need a senator in D.C. who is for the people and not being controlled by the president.
