Austin Hennrich, a Democrat running in the 18th Legislative District, has decided to withdraw from the race and endorse Scott Winkler for the seat. Scott Winkler is also a Democrat running for the 18th Legislative District.<\/span><\/p>\n

Austin Hennrich released the following statement in regards to his endorsement:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am endorsing Scott Winkler for LD-18 because I believe that he is a sincere man who will work hard to represent the interests of regular folks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Scott Winkler has released the following statement:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to Austin Hennrich for participating in the legislative race. \u00a0It’s important to have good people involved in our political process and public service. \u00a0I wish him all the best as he pursues other opportunities. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m running for the Legislature to work on providing equal opportunity to better jobs, education and healthcare for the people of my district, and all Nebraska families,\u201d said Winkler. \u201cI believe every family should have fair access and the tools they need to be able to live the \u2018Good Life\u2019 in Nebraska.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWorking for stronger public education, investment in the jobs of tomorrow, and responsible tax relief will be my top priority,\u201d said Winkler. \u201cand we must create a better environment in our state to promote economic development and provide more families and small businesses the necessary resources for their Success.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
