and<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"15fgq-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"15fgq-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"15fgq-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"96do7-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"96do7-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"96do7-0-0\">WHEREAS, Climate Change impacts everyone on our planet, exacerbating economic instability, causing irreversible damage to our biodiversity, and disproportionately impacting vulnerable populations globally; and,<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"2asfd-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"2asfd-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"2asfd-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"crsla-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"crsla-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"crsla-0-0\">WHEREAS, as Democrats we both believe in science and in acting now to prevent further damage to our people, planet and economies; and\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"27u47-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"27u47-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"27u47-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"9kj5u-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9kj5u-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9kj5u-0-0\">WHEREAS, failure to address Climate Change comprehensively now may result in creating only temporary and partial solutions to the fundamental inequities in American society that are the core of the Democratic platform; and<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"e99q2-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"e99q2-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"e99q2-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"22uti\" data-offset-key=\"cg79f-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"cg79f-0-0\">\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"cg79f-0-0\">WHEREAS,\u00a0as Democrats we have a moral responsibility to provide a national debate to focus the country&#8217;s attention on this critical issue and what the American people must do to solve it, while also dispelling the myths and outright falsehoods that have been perpetuated regarding Climate Change;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that one of the first several DNC Presidential Debates should be focused on Climate Change issues and solutions;
