Block Captains, the Wave Makers are joining us for this contact to talk to voters who skip midterms. Wave Makers, Block Captains are neighborhood organizers who work year-around to boost civic engagement and build community.

- Contact 25 Democratic voters who don’t vote in Midterms. Block Captains, It’s only 25 because this is a smaller universe than we usually work from and the voters are more spread out.
- List Number: [Redacted] (Check your email or sign up to get this info!)
- Democratic Voters: Democrats, Left-leaning independents, and Reasonable Republicans
- Please Complete this contact by September 21, because training for the next contact is September 24th and Newspapers will be heading your direction for delivery starting at the same time as Early voting – October 5!
- Make sure voters know about the midterm election and ask them if they need a Vote-by-mail application. If they need one, there is a survey question you can mark and the state party will send them one.
- If you would like to stop by the Lincoln or Omaha offices, you can pick up a few paper forms but this is not necessary (We now have them in Spanish!)
- If you would like to leave a note for neighbors that you missed, you can include our VBM website where people can request a VBM form: nebraskademocrats.org/vbm/
- There are two printable pdf files in this folder (only available to registered members) if you want to leave a small flyer with your neighbors
Democracy Protectors:
Please sign up for a Democracy Protectors training! The next training is Wednesday, September 2nd at 7 pm Central. We are training over 10,000 Dems across the country to be constitutional observers outside polling locations and to be a helper for voters.

We need you. Donald Trump is threatening to send agents all over the country with the goal of intimidating voters. As Democratic State Parties, we will not let this go unchallenged. State Parties across the country and the DNC are training volunteers to serve as Democracy Protectors—volunteers outside polling locations to help voters and to serve as a friendly face during what might be a stressful time in our elections. Sign up for our second training on September 2nd. We are holding this exact training once a week with a goal of training at least 5,000 people across the country!
