Nebraska Democratic Party Statement on the Nebraska Supreme Court’s Unanimous Ruling Siding with the NDP Against Nominating a Democratic Candidate for US Senate
LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party (NDP) Chair and ASDC President Jane Kleeb issued the following statement regarding this afternoon’s unanimous ruling by the Nebraska Supreme Court siding with the NDP to not place a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate after William Forbes filed an objection:
“Pete Ricketts has spent millions trying to buy this election, and Nebraskans keep standing up to him and his plants. We’re glad the ballot is set. The choice for Nebraska voters is clear–Dan Osborn, a mechanic and veteran who’s fighting to put more money in our pockets, versus a senator from a billionaire family who’s more focused on pleasing Trump than delivering for Nebraska.”
