Nebraska Democratic Party Statement on Republican Brett Lindstrom Dropping Out of the Second Congressional District Race
LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party Chair and ASDC President Jane Kleeb issued the following statement regarding Republican Brett Lindstrom dropping out of the second congressional district race:
“As the Republican Party goes full MAGA by lining up behind Brinker Harding, we wish Brett Lindstrom well. Democrats are focused on the future – embracing a strong, diverse primary field in a blue-dot district that voted for Harris and just flipped Omaha’s mayor’s seat. While Brinker Harding hugs Trump, Democrats will defend freedom of speech and the right to assemble – core constitutional rights Republicans are actively treading on.”
