We are fielding candidates for seats up and down the ballot. We add candidates as they announce. The NDP sometimes supports Independent candidates who are aligned with our values, and when a Democrat is not running in the same race. We note when a candidate in an Independent next to their name with the abbreviation “NP” to designate they are registered as a Non-Partisan and not a Democrat. We believe it is going to take a coalition of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans to break up the one-party and billionaire-rule that has kept our state back from innovating and moving forward with policies that make lives better for working and middle-class Nebraskans. We allow Independents to vote in our partisan primary (the Republican Party does not); you just need to ask for a Democratic ballot at your polling location or on your vote-by-mail application.
