Nebraska Democratic Party Statement on the Submission of Signatures for the Nebraska Working People Party
LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party Chair and ASDC President Jane Kleeb issued the following statement regarding the submission of signatures for the Nebraska Working People Party. We will continue to monitor the verification of all signatures for this entity.
“This isn’t a party – it’s a grievance project bankrolled by right-wing money, just like the Ricketts-backed tricks we saw in the primary. Nebraska is fighting to end corrupt one-party Republican rule, and these sore losers would rather cash a billionaire’s check than put their egos aside and help protect democracy for all. They should frame that check right next to this project’s real name: the Working for Ricketts Party.”
