34 Members of Congress sent a letter to Speaker Paul Ryan calling for Legislative action to re-approve DACA. Congressman Bacon has said that he supports DACA and yet didn’t sign on to this letter.
“Congressman Bacon should have signed the letter to urge Speaker Ryan to create a permanent solution to DACA. He is betraying the voters of Nebraska for saying he supports DACA and yet doesn’t take action on it. He is nothing but talk and Rep. Bacon can not have it both ways.” Marta Nieves, Nebraska Democratic Party’s Latino Caucus Chair.
