Nebraska Democratic Party Statement on PACs’ Negative Influence on Nebraska Democratic Primary Races
LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party Chair and ASDC President Jane Kleeb issued the following statement regarding PACs’ negative influence in Nebraska Primary races:
“Republicans are creating fake ‘progressive’ PACs and lying about Democratic candidates to meddle in the outcome of our primaries. The latest is an entity called “Lead Left” lying about Senator John Cavanaugh in the NE2 race, calling him MAGA, which is truly unbelievable. Other PACs are doing this to state legislative and US Senate candidates.
We have never seen this type of desperation from Republicans, which means we are gaining momentum, so let’s not fall for MAGA lies. Voters, please use the www.nebraskademocrats.org website to find Democratic candidates on your ballot, access a voter guide, find your polling location for May 12th, or find a drop box for your mail-in ballot.
