Rep. Don Bacon falsely claims he capped insulin prices while voting against bills to do exactly that — and raking in $50k from big Pharma
SHOT: Don Bacon launching his first campaign ad of the 2022 cycle that falsely claims he “capped insulin prices at $35 a month.”CHASER: Bacon voted AGAINST the Inflation Reduction Act, which capped Insulin prices for seniors on Medicare, calling it “reckless and partisan.” The bill also allows Medicare to negotiate to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
CHASER: Bacon has accepted more than $50,000 in campaign contributions from the prescription drug industry.

“Don Bacon’s latest ad is Washington politics at its worst. Bacon voted against capping insulin prices and lowering the cost of prescription drugs – the very things he’s now claiming credit for. Time and time again, Bacon has sided with Washington special interests and Big Pharma over Nebraska families – and it will cost him at the ballot box this November.”
