NDP OPENS PUBLIC COMMENT FOR DELEGATE SELECTION PLAN FOR THE 2024 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

The State Central Committee voted to give authority to the State Executive Committee to approve the draft DSP plan. The SEC voted unanimously on March 29, 2023 to approve the draft plan.

The Nebraska Democratic Party (NDP) will gather public comment on its proposed 2024 Delegate Selection Plan (DSP) to send delegates to the Democratic National Convention. The host city and dates are yet to be announced.

We are working with partners across the state and from every community to create a process where every Nebraskan has a chance to be heard as we gear up for 2024. To ensure fairness and inclusivity in the process of finalizing the DSP, the NDP will open the draft for public comment during a 30-day period. The public comment period will begin on March 30 and end on April 29, 2023.

After reviewing the public comments, the plan will be revised and approved by the NDP State Executive Committee and submitted to the Democratic National Committee for review and approval.

The DSP can be reviewed here.
