As Regional Director and Block Captain Coordinator with the Nebraska Democratic Party, we want to make sure you have the resources you need for the final canvass before Election Day on Nov. 6, 2018.
Thank you for serving as a Block Captain. We cannot win elections without you! We have over 550 Block Captains across Nebraska, showing our incredible grassroots power. We want to make sure you have everything you need for this final push to get your 50 voters to the polls.
This Sunday, October 7th, is our Big Barn Block Captain Bash in Roca, NE. If you attend, you will have a chance to get a free shirt or vest. Don’t forget to RVSP/attend the event:

The October 7th Training Session is focused on getting out the vote for the full list of Democrats on the ballot, making sure everyone in the household is registered (by Oct. 19) and that voters know the critical vote dates:

Oct. 9: First Day to Vote Early In-Person at County Election office

Oct. 19: Last Day to Register to Vote Online

Oct. 26: Vote By Mail Requests are due

Nov. 6: Election Day, polls open 8am-8pm CT
In your packet, we will enclose Slate Cards you can leave behind at the door that lists the ALL the Democratic candidates in your county. This is the first time the Nebraska Democratic Party has done this for all 93 counties. We know this is a great way for us to get down ballot Democrats elected that might not have D next to their name because their race is non-partisan.
Over 850 Democrats are running across the state of Nebraska–this is a historic amount of candidates for our party and all of us should be proud and work hard to get them elected.
