Block Captain Reporting and Trainings

First of all, I want to thank you all, so much for volunteering to be a Block Captain in your neighborhood. Personal, grassroots interactions are how we build support, expand our base, and win elections!

To help streamline reporting after you finish canvassing, we have created a Google Form where you can easily report your cumulative data before turning in your walk packets as well as completed Vote By Mail and Voter Registration forms.

In case you missed it, we have completed three Facebook Live Trainings covering everything from canvassing to data entry. I am attaching those links below, and feel free to check them out!

A few words of wisdom from me to you about canvassing;

-Mark on your walk map where you parked your car, if you drove there. Don’t get lost in a neighborhood while it’s pouring rain, like I did. Learn from my mistakes!

-Make personal connections with who you’re talking to. Do you love their garden, or is their dog adorable? Let them know, and build those personal connections!

-Smile and have fun! Canvassing is some of the most fun outreach there is, and I can’t wait for all of you to get started!

As always, if you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to email Ron Rivera at ronr@nebraskademocrats.org.

Send us a selfie of you canvassing so we can share it on social media!

Remember–fill out this google form to let us know your progress!

Happy canvassing!

Emma Craig, Coordinated Campaign Coordinator
