Happy Primary-Eve Block Captains!

On May 15, Nebraskans head to the polls to vote in the Primary Elections. We want to make sure you have information at your fingertips in case people ask you questions about voting in your role as Block Captain.

Please make sure to share our GOTV message on your FB and Twitter feed, it just takes one click and a message shows up on Primary Election Day, May 15: https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/69950-gotv-for-nebraska-democrats

Critical Info

-Polls are open on May 15, 8am-8pm CT.

-Find your polling location: https://www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov/VoterView/PollingPlaceSearch.do

-Democratic candidates on the ballot: https://nebraskademocrats.org/candidates/

-All early ballots/vote by mail ballots are due to the County Election Commission office on May 15 by 8pm. Is someone asks, they should NOT mail their ballot at this point, they need to hand deliver the ballot. The list of offices are here: http://www.sos.ne.gov/elec/clerks.html

-If you hear of anyone denied the right to vote, have them call or email Civic Nebraska’s Non-Partisan Election Protection Program at, 402-904-5191, John.Cartier@civicnebraska.org.

-List of Primary Watch Parties: https://nebraskademocrats.org/blog/primary-night-watch-parties/

As Block Captains, your hard work is already showing. Democrats have a 73% increase in vote by mail applications, Republicans only have a 14% increase. The NDP and candidates have made tens of thousands of calls, knocks and texts this last week of GOTV (Get Out The Vote). We show the rest of the country Nebraska Democrats are strong and ready to end the one-party rule.

Let’s build the #BlueWave2018 together,
