Our Democratic state senators recently finished designating thier priority bills for the 2021 session.
Priority bills are given priority status and generally are considered ahead of other bills in debate. Each senator may select one priority bill, each committee may select two priority bills, and the speaker may select up to 25 priority bills.

Senator Pansing Brooks, LB307 – Change provisions relating to appointment of counsel for juveniles
Senator Vargas, LB241 – Adopt the Meatpacking Employees COVID-19 Protection Act
Senator Walz, LB542. Authorize the issuance of highway bonds under the Nebraska Highway Bond Act
