LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party issue the following statement regarding the Lincoln City Primary Election results:
“We want to congratulate all Democratic candidates who ran clean campaigns focused on the issues. We now turn to the General Election to re-elect Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird while supporting strong candidates to the Lincoln City Council, the Lincoln School Board, and the Airport Authority Board. Our plan has always been to help candidates with their solution-based campaigns and are hopeful the opposition will do the same rather than lying to voters which seems to be the Republican playbook these days.”
