Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb issued the following statement in response to news that Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam appeared in a racist yearbook photo showing a man wearing blackface and another dressed in a Ku Klux Klan robe:
“Voters expect Democrats to stand up against racism and to live up to our party’s values,” Kleeb said. “Gov. Northam must resign.”
