Nebraska Democratic Leaders Issue Joint Endorsement of Biden for President

Nebraska Democratic Party leaders endorse former Vice President Joe Biden for President and are proud of the strong showing he had in the Nebraska Primary held on May 12, 2020. We broke all historical records for Democratic Presidential Primary turnout showing our voters are engaged and ready to win in November.

Former Vice President Biden has been also been endorsed by the Democratic presidential field, including Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who appeared on Nebraska’s primary ballot. Both candidates wanted to remain on the ballot to continue seeking delegates for influence on the platform and rules at the national convention. Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee emerging from a crowded field that saw 29 candidates overall.
