In response to the announcement that Vice President Pence is scheduled for a campaign trip for Rep. Bacon, the Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb released the following statement:
“The Republicans are terrified of the coming blue wave, so Nebraska is getting a visit from Vice President Pence. There is no daylight between Rep. Bacon and Pence and Trump. They all turned their backs on Dreamers and can’t find the heart to fully fund the children health insurance program or expand Medicaid for those who need it the most. Further, the Republicans repealed Net Neutrality and gave massive tax breaks to the 1% showing the disregard for hard-working Nebraska families.” Chair Jane Kleeb
