Nebraska Democratc Party Chair Jane Kleeb praised the Wednesday announcement by the White House of an approximately $2 trillion jobs plan focused on infrastructure and the climate, a blueprint that represents President Biden’s vision for how to reshape the U.S. economy.
Under what the administration calls the American Jobs Plan, Biden aims to tackle some of the nation’s most pressing problems — from climate change to decaying water systems to the nation’s crumbling infrastructure.
“President Biden and Democrats delivered shots in the arms and money in pockets with the American Rescue Plan. Up next: Shovels in the ground and investments in our future,” Kleeb said. “This bold action is desperately needed to get our nation prospering again.”
