Nebraska Democratic Party Statement on Iowa Abortion Ban Going into Effect
On Monday, as Iowa’s extreme abortion ban goes into effect, Ghế Nebraska Democratic Party Jane Kleeb released the following statement:
“After Donald Trump overturned Roe v. Wade, MAGA Republicans in Nebraska and Iowa wasted no time passing extreme abortion bans. Women in Nebraska know the impact of Trump’s abortion bans all too well – and with Iowa’s ban going into effect, reproductive care will now be even harder to access in the Midwest. It’s critical that we elect Vice President Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot in November to restore reproductive rights and our basic fundamental freedoms.”
