Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb Statement on Congressman Don Bacon not seeking re-election in 2026
LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb issues the following statement following Congressman Don Bacon’s announcement that he will not seek re-election in 2026
“Don Bacon and all the Republicans who give Trump cover see the writing on the wall–voters actually want politicians to focus on issues that impact our pocketbooks, not made-up culture wars. The Democratic candidates truly represent the values of the district, including ensuring everyone has a fair shot. We are ready for change, and so is the Blue Dot.”
