Nebraska Democratic Spring Meeting (Agenda and Overview)

The Nebraska Democratic Party is hosting it’s spring meeting to gather party leadership, members, and grassroots leaders to discuss the issues facing our state.  We host these meetings quarterly to ensure that we are well organized and develop plans to elect Democrats to positions in our state.

The Democratic Party strongly stands against Pres. Trump’s Executive Order where he is turning his back on refugees and immigrants coming to our country to protect their families. Nebraska welcomes more refugees than other state on a per capita basis. To respond to this, the Nebraska Democratic Party has been collecting donations of supplies to welcome refugee families when they arrive.

We will distribute Welcome Baskets to groups working with refugees and immigrants at the start of our SCC meeting (1:30 PM).

Various other Caucus and Congressional District meetings take place during the morning.
