The Nebraska Democratic Party will Host Its 2023 Annual Ben Nelson Gala on Friday, September 29, 2023
The Nebraska Democratic Party (NDP) is proud to host its annual Ben Nelson Gala this Friday, September 29th, 2023, at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District.
The Gala will feature multiple keynote speakers and prominent elected officials. The Gala will celebrate Nebraska Democratic Party leaders and volunteers from across the state and will serve as an opportunity to fundraise for our year-round organizing efforts including the Candidates of Color and Frank LaMere Funds.
The following details are being provided to media outlets in the event they would like to participate in interviews and photo ops.
WHAT: The Nebraska Democratic Party will host its 2023 Ben Nelson Gala featuring multiple keynote speakers and prominent elected officials. Our theme for the event will be “Freedom and Justice for All.” The Gala will celebrate leaders and volunteers from across Nebraska and will serve as an opportunity to fundraise for the Candidates of Color and Frank LaMere Funds.
The Nebraska Young Democrats will host an afterparty starting at 9 PM on Friday.
The NDP will also host a VendorFest Candidate training on Saturday, September 30th.

WHY: Opportunity for media and press to interview featured keynote speakers and elected officials during allocated time. Media will have a designated area to conduct interviews prior to the beginning of the Gala.
