Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb issued the following statement Friday on Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue’s visit to Nebraska:
“Secretary Perdue, who insulted farmers by calling them ‘whiners,’ has done nothing but promote Donald Trump’s failed trade agenda and ineffective coronavirus response while in office as farmers across the state face crisis after crisis. Nebraskans are hungry for real leadership and look forward to replacing Donald Trump and Sonny Perdue with leaders who stand up for working people.”
