“The President made a grave error yesterday and Congressman Bacon is missing the critical point,” Ashford said. “There are specific times when one must make a stand and tell the President that you are wrong. What we saw yesterday was a precise example of why clarity is needed. President Trump made no distinction concerning a moral equivalence to Nazis and white supremacists. There is a definitive difference and Congressman Bacon should absolutely make that distinction clear to all.”
