Nebraska Democratic Party Statement Regarding Supreme Court Rulings on Removing Affirmative Action, LGBTQ Discrimination, and Declining Student Loan Forgiveness
LINCOLN, NE – The Nebraska Democratic Party issues the following statement regarding the recent Supreme Court Rulings:

“The Supreme Court is living out the extreme-right agenda major donors have paid for over the last few decades. The court has become a place where big donors can take the justices out on million-dollar vacations in exchange for radical rulings. Gone are the days when citizens can rely on the Supreme Court to deliver justice for all. Instead, we get rulings for the few at the top. Americans strive for liberty and justice for all. Americans strive for freedom to be the underlying value of our country. Decisions are being made by the highest court in our nation that enforces discrimination and increase the barriers to a level playing field. To our communities directly affected by these rulings, we stand with you. Our state party is committed to electing more Democrats who will protect liberty, justice, and freedom for ALL Americans and we ask all Nebraskans to join us. Change only comes when we act together.”
